On Constitution Day, also known as Samvidhan Divas, Mahadev Kanchan College
of Pharmaceutical Education & Research organizes a special event to honor
and celebrate the adoption of the Indian Constitution. This significant day
marks the commitment of our institution to the values and principles
enshrined in the Constitution of India.
Event Activities:
Inaugural Ceremony:
The event begins with an inaugural ceremony where the college's Principal,
Dr. Kale, and esteemed faculty members speak about the importance of the
Constitution and its role in shaping modern India.
Reading of the Preamble: Students and staff collectively read the Preamble of the Constitution, reaffirming their dedication to the ideals of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity.
Guest Lecture:
A distinguished guest speaker, often a legal expert or a scholar in
constitutional studies, is invited to deliver a lecture on the significance
of the Constitution, its historical context, and its impact on contemporary
society.
Debate and Essay Competitions:
To engage students actively, the college organizes debate and essay
competitions on topics related to constitutional law, rights and duties of
citizens, and the role of the Constitution in a democratic society.
